Olympic heptathlete Glynis Nunn was born in Toowoomba, Queensland, on the 4th of December 1960. Nunn won a gold medal in the heptathlon in the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics, a gold medal in the heptathlon in the 1982 Commonwealth Games in Brisbane, and a bronze medal in the 100m hurdles at the 1986 Commonwealth Games in Edinburgh.
